Accessing the BIOS or UEFI Firmware Before we can change the boot order, we need to access the BIOS or UEFI firmware.
The process for accessing the BIOS or UEFI firmware varies depending on your computer’s manufacturer, but you can usually access it by pressing a key during the startup process.
Some common keys to try are F2, Del, Esc, and F10.
For computers with UEFI firmware, you may also need to access the firmware settings from within Windows.
To do this, go to the Start menu, select “Settings,” then “Update & Security,” then “Recovery.” Under “Advanced startup,” click “Restart now.”
When your computer restarts, select “Troubleshoot,” then “Advanced options,” then “UEFI Firmware Settings.”
